Cinderella Theme Wedding Centerpieces

Cinderella-CenterpiecesCinderella is one of my favorite fairy tale wedding themes.  There are so many table decorating possibilities! In fact, instead of having to choose just one, let’s tell the story with several different, but coordinating wedding table decorations!  For instance, Cinderella centerpieces can easily include a glass slipper, a pumpkin coach carriage, a fairy godmother, a castle, a prince, mice and birds and a tiara and crown…hmm…how many tables are going to be at your wedding?  The trick is to coordinate each centerpiece with one another.  This shouldn’t be too hard once you’ve chosen a color or flower to use throughout all of your ceremony and reception decorations.  Simply include that flower, sprinkle petals from it or make sure your color is somewhere within each centerpiece.  Truly make your Cinderella theme wedding centerpieces sparkle with glitter or stars, or anything that reminds guests that dreams really can come true!

You can use fabric squares or favor tulle as the base of every centerpiece.  This gives it it’s own “space” as well as joins each table decoration as a whole.  Of course, using the same place settings, as well as place card holders or favors will unify the tables as well.  (A note about place card holders and favors - you can use the same concept.  Try alternating between two types of favors or place card holders.  Just remember, they need to match your theme, color and style!)  Pillar or square candles of all sizes and table confetti used throughout the centerpieces also make great coordinating resources.  Pictured are the beginnings of a glass slipper on a pillow centerpiece.  (A small white satin form pillow may be purchased at your local craft supply store or better yet, use the pillow from your wedding ceremony for the glass slipper display!)  The pumpkin coach horse carriage figurine will make a great coordinating centerpiece when all has been completed…and wait until you see the castle…
