Wedding Decorations – DIY Centerpieces
Elegant, simple and DIY? You betcha! These do it yourself centerpieces are made up of glass and candles, both fitting in perfectly with any elegant wedding celebration. The best part about these wedding decorations (besides the do-it-yourself part!) is that they don’t cost a small fortune!
Pillar candles, floating candles or hollow wax candles – take your pick and then pair them with shallow, footed glass bowls, square or cylinder vases. You can’t go wrong with candles, available in all shapes, sizes, colors and styles! Choose shapes (Butterflies? Diamonds? Hearts? Roses?) and/or colors that match your wedding decorations.
Though there are fillers like stone, sand or marbles, nothing is more simple then simply filling a clear bowl or cyclinder halfway with water, placing floating candles and maybe a few flower petals inside the bowl and around the container on the reception table. Light the candles before your reception and you’ve got yourself the most inexpensive, quick and simple, DIY centerpieces!
